Call, Call, Raise

This pattern means that the player has to play slow. The other players will feel that they have to follow him and end up raising their stacks and follow him to the river.

Raise, Raise, Raise

This is an extreme form of betting where a player has to be some kind of a maniac to try this out or else have an amazing hand. Here it is just raising on blinds hoping to raise the stakes and win the blind or try to generate some action at the table

Telling on You

This is a pattern that is found in both online as well as traditional casinos. It means that most of the games do not follow a pattern and player’s lapse into what is comfortable for them.

These are only some of the patterns of betting and you should try to use them to your advantage. You should also remember to use the betting patterns to misrepresent your hand and force people to call when they think that they have a good chance of winning.

If you see a player who is aggressive, then you should probably play slow so that you can force his hand and let your stack grow.
